The Adoption Monologues is a nonprofit organization that seeks personal writing from all those affected by adoption: adopted children and parents, birth parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and so on. We are looking for monologues more than personal narratvies, i.e. A monologue is an extended, uninterrupted speech or poem by a single person. The person may be speaking his or her thoughts aloud or directly addressing other persons, e.g. an audience, a character, reader, or inatimate object.
