Check out "The Giving," on DVD - it is the number one selling adoption video on Amazon.com. It "chronicles the difficult journeys of six women from the time they learn of their pregnancy to the signing of adoption papers . . . this film shatters the myth of the careless, abandoning birthmother, and reveals, once again that courage and selflessness are found in the most unassuming places."

WELCOME!
The Adoption Monologues is a nonprofit organization that seeks personal writing from all those affected by adoption: adopted children and parents, birth parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and so on. We are looking for monologues more than personal narratvies, i.e. A monologue is an extended, uninterrupted speech or poem by a single person. The person may be speaking his or her thoughts aloud or directly addressing other persons, e.g. an audience, a character, reader, or inatimate object. We are collecting personal experiences to be read publicly and hope to publish them in book form. Please submit your work to: adoptionmonologue@gmail.com
